Used with the Hasselblad 203S space camera

Hasselblad IR Remote Control for use with the Hasselblad 203S space camera. This Hasselblad remote works in conjunction with the Winder CW 44113, the power winder on the 203S. A NASA part # label is attached to the back indicating the part name, Remote Control Assy, P/N SED33110633-323, and s/n 1003. A blue strip of Velcro is also attached to the back.

The remote was Class III NASA hardware used for astronaut training. The Photo/TV Bldg. 4 label on the front signifies use by the NASA trainers where astronaut photography training sessions take place. A Class III NASA decal is attached to the front as this remote was not intended for flight use.

NASA replaced the standard leather lace cord with a thinner web cord after delivery, which is included. Each NASA Hasselblad 203S camera kit custom built for NASA included one of these IR Remote Control units as part of the kit when delivered to NASA. A CR2 3 volt battery powers the IR remote, is not included. Condition is excellent. Purchased as NASA surplus.
